We’re hiring an Associate Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join the Clarest Health Finance team in a key leadership role. This position bridges tactical execution and strategic oversight, contributing directly to company-wide financial planning and decision-making. In this role, you’ll lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes across all departments. Responsibilities include building and refining complex financial models, analyzing key business initiatives, and presenting data-driven insights that support executive decisions. A focus on developing performance metrics will be essential to drive operational improvements and enhance financial outcomes. This is a highly visible role that works cross-functionally with senior leadership and plays a critical part in shaping the company’s financial strategy. 
 
Location: Remote
Salary: $130,000+ plus 10% Discretionary Bonus (based on company performance)
Reports To:  Senior Vice President, Finance

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the annual budgeting and forecasting processes across business units and departments

  • Perform detailed financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives, business development, and profitability enhancement

  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand operational drivers and align financial planning accordingly

  • Develop and present monthly financial reporting packages to executive leadership, identifying risks, opportunities, and performance trends

  • Supervise the preparation of internal reports, pharmacy operations reviews, and presentations for the Board of Directors

  • Oversee capital expenditure tracking, project evaluation, and reporting

  • Design and implement FP&A tools, dashboards, and KPIs to enhance decision-making

  • Provide mentorship and oversight to the FP&A team and ensure team deliverables are accurate and timely

  • Support bank reporting, covenant compliance, and liquidity forecasting in collaboration with Treasury

  • Serve as a key liaison between FP&A and Accounting, ensuring data consistency and integrity

  • Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of financial outputs

  • Support ad-hoc projects, scenario planning, and executive-level analyses as needed

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced degree/certification strongly preferred

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

  • Healthcare or pharmacy industry experience

  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis

  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, GAAP, and operational performance metrics

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required; experience with ERP and EHR systems (Epic a plus) preferred

  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a dynamic environment
