Join our team as a Full Time Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and dive into a role where you'll be at the heart of ensuring seamless medication delivery to nursing home facilities.

 

Location: On site at our closed-door, Southborough MA, pharmacy (155 Northboro Road, Southborough, MA)

Salary: starting at $24/hr (dependent upon experience and license type)

Available Schedules:

9 am - 5:30 pm (M-F) with rotating weekends

4 pm - 12:30 am (M-F) with rotating weekends (first two weeks must be available to work a 9 am – 5:30 pm training schedule)

Key Responsibilities:

·           Swiftly and accurately fulfill daily medication orders, ensuring seamless operations under the guidance of a pharmacist

·           Contribute to streamlining operations by assisting in the prepacking of frequently requested medications, meticulously labeling, and ensuring proper storage protocols

·           Skillfully package materials and products by hand, ensuring each item meets quality standards

·           Demonstrate precision in retrieving medications from designated storage areas, maintaining optimal inventory levels

·           Contribute to precision and efficiency by meticulously applying labels to medication packaging and conducting thorough product scans for accuracy

·           Maintain a vigilant eye for detail, promptly notifying supervisory pharmacists of any irregularities during scanning processes

·           Uphold the organization's standards of organization and efficiency by consistently maintaining designated workstations and promptly replenishing stock supplies

·           Demonstrate unwavering commitment to confidentiality and compliance by adhering to all relevant government regulations, including the strictures of HIPAA

·           Prioritize personal safety and workplace compliance by strictly adhering to all relevant safety regulations and policies, recognizing the importance of standing for extended periods as an integral aspect of the role

·           Ensure consistent availability by committing to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week

·           The ability to adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct, follow Clarest Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance Officer

 

Qualifications:

·           High school diploma or GED is required

·           Proven experience as a pharmacy technician

·           Must have MA CPhT license (must be in good standing)

·           Flexibility to work overtime, holidays and weekends

·           Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs

·           Knowledge of Pharmacy law and medical terminology a plus
